Resident Consultant Opthalmologist

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional services expected of your specialty and be responsible for those patients admitted to the wards under your care.
• To exercise proper professional skills and diligence in the performance of your duty as a Specialist and shall possess autonomy of professional judgement and choice within reasonable limits without being subject to the direction from the Centre in the exercise of such matters relating to patient therapy, so long as it does not negatively impact on patient welfare and outcome.
• To actively participate in the Centre's Continuing Medical Education efforts.
• To follow the guidance of the Malaysian Medical Association Code of Ethics and Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act Regulations 2006 at all times.
• Must practice in compliance with relevant Ministry of Health regulatory requirements, NMSC Policy and Procedure requirements, and Clinical Practice Guidelines as defined by the Normah Medical Specialist Centre.

Requirements:

• Fully registered medical practitioner in Malaysia with valid APC
• Possess MD/MBBS
• Possess Fellowship / Membership / Master Medicine
• At least 5 years post-specialist experience in the relevant discipline
• Must be registered with National Specialist Register (NSR)
